More than once I’ve faced the task of writing a succinct description of our family. Somehow I always find it daunting. How do you capture the essence of five lives in constant interaction through just a few sentences? It’s impossible so you’ll have to accept this incomplete but sincere attempt.
We are the traditional family unit: two biological parents and three children. We are called by God to love each other and to love His church. We attempt both and, by His Grace, we are sustained in our imperfect efforts.
Tony is a PhD student at McMaster Divinity College (“MacDiv”) while I (Rose) am a stay-at-home mom with a penchant for making websites. Together we have two sons and one daughter; two extroverts and one introvert; two Americans and one Canadian; three intelligent and active children. We enjoy baking (or the products thereof), theology, taking walks and those rare but precious moments of silence.
